Sons of Liberty- Freedom Clothing
Email Sons Of Liberty
The original Sons of Liberty began as an organization of printers and artisans sometime in the early 1760’s. At their inception, the main focus was to oppose taxes the British government had placed on the American colonies. Americans wanted to be more involved in how they were governed and the Sons became the force behind this movement. At the end of 1765 the Sons of Liberty had a presence in each of the 13 colonies. A great many of the Sons were printers and publishers themselves and even those who were not, were sympathetic to the cause. As a result, the Sons were able to effectively spread their message of resistance. The ultimate effect was to empower both citizens and legislatures in every colony. The Sons of Liberty were the spark behind the American resistance to British tyranny. They inspired a nation to rise up and fight to be liberated from an oppressive government.
Today, American Liberty is again threatened. It is our responsibility as citizens to use our voices, much like the original Sons of Liberty, and fight back. While times have certainly changed, we will again use the printing press to spread the message of resistance. Without the luxury of a media loyal to the cause of Freedom, we will use our clothing. The apparel featured on this site is our way of organizing the masses who celebrate their freedom and who refuse to let it be taken from them without a fight. That's why, as a part of our Freedom Project, a portion of all proceeds will be donated to organizations who are on the front lines in the fight to preserve our freedom. Organizations like The Heritage Foundation, The Campaign for Liberty, The Cato Institute, and several others. We will not only support the organizations fighting in Washington but also continue to expand the line of apparel that will be responsible for exposing others to our cause. We can again organize for liberty and resist the oppression of a far away government. We can again use the printing press to spread our ideas. Through the Freedom Project, we believe all of us can contribute to turning the tide in Washington. Where the original Sons of Liberty used their newspapers, we will use our clothing. We might even look good doing it.
We hope you like what you see. We will continue to expand the ideas featured and are always open to suggestions and are continually looking for talented individuals who want to join the cause. So feel free to use our contact us page and let us know what you think.
And remember, Protect Freedom First!
